About Our Congregation

We are lay led and have programs both by members and outside speakers.

Worship experience: At the beginning of the service we light candles to share our joys and concerns. We sing three hyms during the course of a service led by our wonderful piano player, Richard Parrish. A program is given by either a member/friend or an outside speaker. One Sunday a month we have a UU minister from Dallas come in to lead the service. One of the most popular aspects of our service is the talkback at the end (after a short break for coffee and snacks.) The speaker takes questions from the congregations - this often leads to very lively discussions!

RE: One of our member's teenager watches any children that do not want to stay in the sanctuary. At this time there is no formal RE for youth. For adults, we have movie nights and special night programs. There is also a potluck the last Sunday of each month following the service.
