Denton Unitarian Universalist Fellowship
About Our Congregation
We welcome visitors and new members to our church to share in our continuing quest for religious values and meaningful expression. In our Sunday services we are open to the variety of beliefs amongst us, and our religious education philosophy for children and youth reflects this also.

Rev. Bill Metzger, co-minister with his wife Diana Heath, at Denton UU Fellowship from 2007 until 2009, died on January 30, 2010. He is survived by his wife, son, and daughter, three grandsons, and a sister. Originally a newspaper reporter and editor, Rev. Metzger was parish minister at the UU Church in Elgin, Illinois, as well as interim minister for several of our congregations. He was also founding editor of Quest Magazine for the Theosophical Society in America. Some will remember that Rev. Heath was Associate Minister at First Unitarian of Dallas in 1980. A memorial service was held at DUUF on February 6; memorials should go to the UUA's Living Tradition Fund to support scholarships for seminary students.
