First Unitarian Church of Dallas sanctuary is a place for pause. It is a quiet place. Its designers and builders thought of it as a clearing in a forest, a great open space, filled with sunlight. It is a place for refreshment and renewal in the midst of the city.

Members gather for nurture, challenge, and spiritual sustenance, testing the word that is preached in relation to the lived experience. Members return to daily lives with renewed commitment to the purposes of love and justice in the community, through service to others.
